Wallet Basics

Access your wallet address and balance with the Python Robotics SDK. Provide a mnemonic or keystore path and configure the local keystore.

Create an SDK instance and access your address and balance. Secrets can be provided explicitly if needed.

If the keystore was written while PEAQ_ROBOT_KEY_PASSWORD was set, every process that opens it needs the same password in its environment. When the keystore cannot be decrypted, PeaqRobot() creates a new wallet and overwrites the keystore file, and the old key is lost. Back up the keystore file before you start.

Tip: the SDK reads these settings from environment variables (it does not load .env files):
