Send many transactions from a single script with ethers.js. The examples target the peaq EVM and work on any EVM chain.

Prerequisites

  • A Node.js environment.
  • A private key for the sending wallet.
  • Access to a peaq RPC endpoint.
  • Basic familiarity with blockchain SDKs (e.g., ethers.js or web3.js).

Instructions

1. Install Required Dependencies

Install ethers.js to handle blockchain interactions programmatically, and dotenv to read your keys from a .env file.
Create a .env file:

2. Define Bulk Transactions

Structure your transactions as an array of recipient addresses and amounts.

3. Putting it all together

Use the following script to send the batch.

Tips

  1. Test with a small batch before sending large-scale transactions.
  2. Monitor gas prices and set appropriate limits to avoid failed transactions.
  3. Secure your private keys. Never expose them in code or logs.
  4. Implement error handling to retry failed transactions where applicable.
